چکیده
We propose a route for parameterizing isotropic (generalized) Langevin [(G)LE] thermostats with the aim to correct dynamics of coarse-grained (CG) models pairwise conservative interactions. The approach is based on Mori–Zwanzig formalism and derives memory kernels from Q-projected time correlation functions. Bottom-up informed (GLE LE) CG star-polymer melt are investigated, it demonstrated that inclusion in simulation leads predictions polymer diffusion quantitative agreement fine-grained simulations. Langevin equation with Coulomb friction
We propose a Langevin model with Coulomb friction. Through the analysis of the corresponding Fokker-Planck equation, we have obtained the steady velocity distribution function under the influence of the external field.
متن کاملGeneral Formula of Bias-corrected Aic in Generalized Linear Models
The present paper considers a bias correction of Akaike’s information criterion (AIC) for selecting variables in the generalized linear model (GLM). When the sample size is not so large, the AIC has a non-negligible bias that will negatively affect variable selection. In the present study, we obtain a simple expression for a bias-corrected AIC (corrected AIC, or CAIC) in GLMs. A numerical study...
متن کاملA Class of Generalized Dynamic Correlation Models
This paper proposes a class of parametric correlation models that apply a twolayer autoregressive-moving-average structure to the dynamics of correlation matrices. The proposed model contains the Dynamic Conditional Correlation model of Engle (2002) and the Varying Correlation model of Tse and Tsui (2002) as special cases and offers greater flexibility in a parsimonious way. Performance of the ...
متن کاملComputing generalized Langevin equations and generalized Fokker-Planck equations.
The Mori-Zwanzig formalism is an effective tool to derive differential equations describing the evolution of a small number of resolved variables. In this paper we present its application to the derivation of generalized Langevin equations and generalized non-Markovian Fokker-Planck equations. We show how long time scales rates and metastable basins can be extracted from these equations. Numeri...
متن کاملThe generalized Langevin equation with Gaussian fluctuations
It is shown that all statistical properties of the generalized Langevin equation with Gaussian fluctuations are determined by a single, two-point correlation function. The resulting description corresponds with a stationary, Gaussian, non-Markovian process. Fokker-Planck-like equations are discussed, and it is explained how they can lead one to the erroneous conclusion that the process is nonst...
